Functional formats to keep my personal and professional life in check
I'm onto my 3rd Self-Care Planner. After going through many different planners and their formats, I find the holistic approach of incorporating personal and professional priorities in Self-Care Planner is the holy grail I have been looking for. It helps to keep me in balance and on track both personally and professionally. I like having space to jot down my personal priorities for the day next to my professional ones. It allows me to be more focused on professional setting, because I know I'm not forgetting my personal needs. I also use Cal Newport's time block method to organize my day. I find the hourly block format useful enough for my time block needs. I start my week on a Sunday. I find the upper right corner 'day of week' feature flexible enough where I can circle the day of the week on each daily planning page. On the start of the week page, I simply write on top of the initials of each day of the week to align with the week starting on Sundays. It works for me. I do wish there are more blank pages in the planner for notes. At the end of each week, I wish there is 1 more blank page (total of 2 blank pages) for notes. At the end of planner, I'd like to keep track of books I have read and would like to read, and places I have and would like to visit.
Organized my whole life!
I love using this journal! It encompasses the most important things -hydration, nutrition, exercise, and good sleep- yet it is incredibly customizable as well. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to track things and is looking to begin/continue their wellness journey!

This is the best planner I have ever purchased, and I’ve tried many. It’s a great combination of practical planning with mindfulness and self care. I cannot recommend it enough!
Back and loving it
This is my third planner and after taking a 1-yr break while traveling abroad last year I am so happy to have this back into my daily routine. No other planner has kept me as conscious about my habits, health, and joy quite the way this one does.
I feel seen
I absolutely love the layout and components of the Simple Self journal. It combines all of the wellness information I’ve been trying to track in a variety of other formats into one simple book. My only suggestion would be to have the paper be a bit thicker/opaque.
They thought of everything! I love this planner. I used to have both a gratitude journal and a planner, this takes care of both. The only thing I wish were different and it’s not a big deal, but I wish the month pages coincided with the weeks pages so that you don’t have to flip back and forth from beginning of planner to where you are in the middle. I would also like the paper to be a tad thicker if I had it my way. But overall I am extremely pleased with this!
